About the Role
PTA for the founding clinical team of a new outpatient clinic in Lansdowne, VA. Works under supervision of DPTs across orthopedic, post-surgical, sports, and geriatric caseloads in a one-patient-at-a-time model. AI-powered EHR reduces documentation burden. Key Responsibilities
• Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual interventions, and modalities
• Monitor, document, and report patient response and progress
• Educate patients/families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Assist with patient flow, equipment setup, and a clean, safe treatment environment
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical team on care and program development
Requirements / Qualifications
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Current Virginia PTA license (or eligibility)
• CPR / BLS certification
• Strong hands-on skills: therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, modalities
• Excellent communication and patient-motivation skills
