The CT technologist will work directly with radiologists to perform a variety of CT procedures that require judgment, ingenuity and radiation protection practices while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs.

Responsibilities
- Performs quality CT exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols.
- Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, radiation protection, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures.
- Maintains appropriate documentation of patient records especially in the Radiology Information
- System and PACS (computer systems) to meet operating standards, corporate compliance practices, and/or regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Generates appropriate imaging from CT workstation and presents appropriate filming of CT scans to the radiologist.
- Performs the duties of a staff technologist while providing direct and indirect clinical supervision and education of students in the clinical setting.
- Collaborates and participates in department related projects and/or teams focused on improvement opportunities as needed.
- Performs other related operational duties as needed including, but not limited to, transporting patients, office/clerical functions, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining supplies in rooms, and cleaning CT equipment.
Education/Accredited Programs
- Successful completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Minimum of one year radiologic technologist experience with CT responsibilities preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- CT certified or ARRT registry eligible. Eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire date.
- CPR Certified

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $33.08 to $49.62 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
