Position: BC/BE OBGYN Physician – Locum
Location: Socorro, NM 87801
Position Type: Locum - Ongoing (Long Term)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Regular Pay Rate: $350/hr; $2800 per day (Regular 8-hour shift)
On Call Rate: $350/hr
Over Time: $405/hr
Holiday Pay Rate: $525/hr
Incidentals: Lodging $132/day
Rental Car: $40/day (Must use personal vehicle for reimbursement)
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join a collaborative and patient-focused healthcare team in beautiful San Antonio, NM. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing exceptional women's healthcare while enjoying a balanced clinical practice.
Position Highlights:
Monday–Friday outpatient clinic schedule (8 AM–5 PM)
Competitive hourly compensation ($350/hr ; $2800 per day (Regular 8-hour shift)

Call Schedule:
Day Call: During clinic hours (8 AM–5 PM)
Night Call: 5 PM–8 AM
Weekend Call: Friday 5 PM – Monday 8 AM
Practice Details:
Less than 15 clinic patients per day
Approximately 8–10 deliveries per month
21% C-Section rate
Mostly low-risk pregnancies with occasional high-risk cases
Work alongside 2 OB/GYN Physicians, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and dedicated C-section support staff
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN Residency
Eligible for New Mexico Medical License
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Required Recent Experience:
Minimum 50 vaginal deliveries in the last 12 months
Minimum 20 C-Sections in the last 12 months
Minimum 25 gynecologic surgical procedures, including 5 major abdominal cases, within the past 12 months
Required Clinical Skills:
Labor & Delivery (Routine & High-Risk)
Fetal Heart Rate Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
OB Ultrasound Performance & Interpretation (Level I & II)
Vaginal & Cesarean Deliveries
Complex Deliveries & Laceration Repairs
Advanced Gynecologic Surgery
Laparoscopic Procedures
